Inter Club Golf Tournament: The BORBHAG Cup started as an effort by a dedicated group of golfers in their continued quest to popularise the game in North East India.

This effort has been with a view to build on the potential of sports to contribute to socio economic progress as well as infrastructure development and community building. Blending heritage with the modern world, our mission is to strengthen traditions and a spirit of camaraderie.

The Inaugural Tournament, initially envisioned with Clubs from Assam, saw participation from four states of the region. It was held on 3rd January 2021 at Misa Polo Club, Assam, bringing together 88 Golfers from 7 Clubs across 4 states. Golfers represented the General Public, Armed Forces as well as Tea Planters. The event was supported by The BORBHAG Group, Amalgamated Plantations, Tusker Associates, Agricultural Services and Vinayak Sales Corporation. The Winning Team was Misa Polo Club, with Runners Up, Jorhat Gymkhana Club.
